Zirconia
Using the highest quality of Zirconia from high translucent to low translucent material.
We use Monolithic Crowns for posteriors producing a strong and pleasing aesthetic restoration.
Layered Zirconia Crowns mainly used anteriorly have a Zirconia base layered with porcelain.
An experienced dental technician manufactures these more complex crowns allowing a perfect match with adjacent teeth.

Most often used for high aesthetic cases such as veneers and anterior crowns.

Porcelain Fused To Metal (PFM)
These traditional crowns are a perfectly viable option for strong durable, aesthetic crowns. Our porcelain fused restorations are all layered in Ivoclar (hyperlinked) true in nature porcelain.
The inline porcelain material has a perfect balance of Chroma and Incisal Enamels very similar to natural teeth. The PFM ceramic has natural wear to opposing dentition, meaning there is little abrasion to opposing teeth. These PFMs are a superb option for larger bridges.

Implants
1st Dental offers the option for single or bridge implant restoration with all available implant systems.
A titanium base abutment is most often used, however if the abutment requires extra height 1st Dental can create a bespoke Titanium abutment.
The 1st Dental team then designs and manufactures a Zirconia Crown with a screw access hole enabling the abutment and the crown to be cemented together.
